Amy’s work is inspired by mythology, folklore and tales from throughout history.  For over 15 years she has focused on the relationship between women and nature. Her titles often allude to stories from the Greek and Roman Gods to Chinese mythology as well a focus on Gaelic tales from Ireland and Wales.

They are surreal creations concocted in Judd’s mind with the sole purpose of producing something beautiful. Her style is instantly recognisable, whilst distinctly spilt into themes,  some calming and peaceful, others can at times be surreal and on the verge of uncomfortable depending on the viewer.  The figures faces are always obscured, allowing the viewer to inject their own personal narrative and ownership.
