Amy’s work is inspired by mythology, folklore and traditional tales from throughout history.  For over 15 years she has focused on the relationship between women and nature. Her titles often allude to stories from the Greek and Roman Gods to Chinese mythology as well a focus on Gaelic tales from Ireland and Wales.

They are surreal creations concocted in Judd’s mind with the sole purpose of producing something beautiful. Her style is instantly recognisable, whilst distinctly spilt into themes,  some calming and peaceful, others at times surreal and on the verge of uncomfortable depending on the viewer.  The figures faces are always obscured, allowing the viewer to inject their own personal narrative and ownership.

Amy Judd’s work can be found in collections throughout the world including the UK, US, Europe, Hong Kong, Canada, Malaysia and South America.
