In her late 60s Carol took an Art Foundation Course at York College where she was awarded the Art and Design Lifelong Student of the Year Award 2018. She is inspired by Outsider Art, Art Brut and Folk Art. She has exhibited extensively in the North of England and we are thrilled to be her first London gallery. Her work is collected by interior designers both in the UK and internationlly and recently collaborated with womans wear and lifestyle brand Toast on a national campaign.
Carol paints in acrylic on canvas with a small roller and has developed her own distinctive colour palette. Her themes include domestic objects and semi-abstracted figures.
