Affordable Art Fair Stockholm

We can’t wait to get to the 6th edition of this Affordable Art Fair in the unique Nacka Strandsmässan venue, on show from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th October.

This year we will be showing exciting works from Amy Judd, Bruce McLean and Bobbie Russon.

Amy Judd paints collections of sensitive silent moments; some full of whimsical intrigue, others more surreal and seductive. These paintings draw inspiration from the enchanting and imaginative relationship between women and nature found in traditional mythologies and folklores.

Bruce McLean is one of the major figures of contemporary British Art. Born in 1944 he studied at Glasgow school of art and at St. Martin’s in London, where he was taught by Anthony Caro. From the late 1970s he has made paintings and prints in which humour remains central and his bold and confident approach to print making has proved influential to his contemporaries and also to a generation of younger artists.

Bobbie Russon creates bold and moving depictions of figures in a subtle, matt finish, mapping a path of loss, awkward self-awareness, and developing sexuality; she communicates her excruciating shyness as a child and the acute loneliness she felt.
